Dear Cars Inc Community
After thinking about it for a long time, we have finally made the decision to retire. We kept asking ourselves, ‘When is a good time to stop working?’ The simple answer is, there is no time like the present, so while one chapter is ending, another is about to start for us.
As a result of our pending retirement, we will be closing the doors of Cars Inc Museum and Café, with our last day being Sunday, 10th May, 2026.
We have met some truly great people over the years, many of you becoming regulars and some of whom are now good friends, so thank you for supporting us; you are all part of the Cars Inc story.
We welcome you to come in before we close, whether it is to have a look around the museum, have something to eat or drink or simply to say see you later.
All the very best to you all, and we will no doubt see you around.

Cars Inc. is a family-owned passion project that's been many years in the making. There are over 60 vehicles of special interest to see plus displays and memorabilia.
The Cafe has plenty of seating and serves American | Kiwi cuisine.
There are many car parks, and it has great accessibility for all needs.
